A guide to the events, exhibitions and more taking place across the Stonehenge & Avebury World Heritage Site.

Our Partners are planning some exciting activities for the forthcoming February half-term.  Here is a look forwards to some of the events families can enjoy in the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site during the holiday.

English Heritage is hosting  Half Term History Makers  activities at Stonehenge over the February half-term from 10-18 February. Families will be able to step back in time to the Neolithic period and find out what life was like through fun, hands on games.

The National Trust at Avebury is launching a brand new sensory trail map this half-term for visitors to explore Avebury Manor Garden in a new way.

Perfect for neurodivergent visitors or younger families, this map is free to use and takes you around the garden, using your senses to find the best places to listen to the wind, smell the herbs, and look at the insects and wildlife. Everyone will be able to discover something new.

Discover monuments, encounter wildlife and enjoy beautiful views on one of the many walking routes through the World Heritage Site landscape. Here are just a few examples:

Avebury Ridgeway walk | Wiltshire | National Trust
