February
English Heritage is hosting Half Term History Makers activities at Stonehenge over the February half-term from 10-18 February. Families will be able to Step back in time to the Neolithic period and find out what life was like through fun, hands on games.
March
Wiltshire Museum is hosting its popular Archaeology in Wiltshire Conference on 17 March. There’s a full days’ programme of presentations about at archaeology throughout Wiltshire.
The National Trust has an exciting programme of family activities planned for Easter at Avebury between 23 March-14 April including an Easter themed nature trail.
April
World Heritage Day, also know as ‘The International Day for Monuments and Sites’ will be held on 18 April.
May
The North Wessex Downs Walking Festival will take place from 31 May-9 June.
June
Open Farm Sunday will take place this year on 8 June 2024.
July
Salisbury Museum will be holding its annual Festival of Archaeology on 27-28 July providing visitors with a showground of living history, archaeology, experiences, food and fun (A look back at the festival 22-23 July2023).
